Who is Prop Firm Match?
Prop Firm Match began with a problem two working traders could not solve for themselves. Martin Jensen had been trading for six years and, as he tells it, was consistently profitable but could not scale his account. Prop firms looked like the answer, yet there was no reliable way to tell which ones paid out or suited his style. He took the idea to John Ramos, a fellow member of his trading community. Ramos was already trading a prop account and had the technical skills to build the first site. Before launch they ran a "championship" on Twitter, pitting prop firms against each other on objective metrics. The community voted, World Cup style, all the way to a final. When the site went live in 2023, it had a running start.
The model puts data ahead of opinion. Every applicant is reviewed on its ownership, leadership, operating record, rules and technology before it can be listed. Listed firms can be reassessed when new concerns surface. By the company’s count, more than 300 firms have applied and 104 have been approved. The star ratings come from traders rather than staff. Every review is checked by hand against proof of purchase, and the result is a base of more than 12,000 verified reviews. The published methodology spells it out: no firm can buy a ranking or an award.
Around that core sits a toolkit for every step of choosing a challenge. The comparison table lines up more than 1,500 challenges from 60+ firms across futures, forex and crypto. Each is standardized so that drawdown types, profit targets and payout rules read side by side. The Payout Tracker logs payout totals, counts and median payout times across firms. Purchases made through the site earn loyalty points that can be redeemed for free challenges. A free Chrome extension brings ratings, price comparisons and code MATCH to supported firm websites. Prop Firm One, now in open beta, gathers a trader’s accounts at different firms into one dashboard. The site runs in English and Spanish and, by its own count, draws more than 6 million views a month.
PFM TV is the daily heartbeat. The show launched on 15 October 2025 as a New York open session, with host Zach Anthony trading beside a different guest most days. Trader Drysdale and Austin Silver were among the early guests. In January 2026 it widened to the London and New York sessions, and it now runs every weekday from 2:00 am to 4:00 pm ET. Zach Anthony, Luna Trades, TMade Alex and Fabio trade ES and NQ, cover the news and take questions from the chat. Every session in September and October has drawn between 20,000 and 43,000 views, up from about 2,500 for the first London and New York show. Between streams the channel publishes challenge explainers and beginner guides to futures. Its interviews with traders and firm founders go back to the PropTalk series in 2024. A Discord of more than 20,000 members and a Telegram channel of 18,500 keep the conversation going off air.
In 2026 the company also brought its community together in person. On 27 June the first Prop Firm Expo sold out the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, drawing more than 2,000 traders and industry guests, 40 exhibitors and 50 speakers. Prop Firm Match calls it the first stop in a global event series. Panels filmed that day have since drawn more than 170,000 views on YouTube. The most popular, scalper Andrea Cimi’s breakdown of order flow, is the channel’s most-watched long-form video of 2026. Today Prop Firm Match is the resource its founders once went looking for: one place to compare the fine print, read verified reviews and watch the trading happen live.

How a firm earns a listing
A listing on Prop Firm Match has to be earned. Each applicant goes through a multi-layer review. It covers corporate structure and public leadership, operating track record, the clarity of the rules and terms, and the platforms and service providers behind the firm. Reputation with traders and, where the data exists, payout practices are weighed too. In 2025 the founders described a starting bar of at least one year in operation or backing from an established broker. Listed firms can be reassessed whenever new concerns emerge. The company also states plainly that a listing means a firm passed review, not that it is endorsed.
Rather than one master score, the site runs several rankings, each built to answer a narrower question. Best Sellers reflects purchase activity through Prop Firm Match, and Favorite Firms reflects community votes. Reviews & Ratings aggregates verified reviews, with filters for funded and paid-out traders. The Payout Tracker compares payout totals, counts, average size and median payout time. The annual Prop Firm Match Awards draw on those data sets, with a separate Trader’s Choice vote for community favorites. The aim, as the founders put it, is to let traders decide for themselves.
PFM TV, from the London open to the New York close
PFM TV is where the platform trades. The stream opens at 2:00 am ET for the London session and runs through the New York afternoon to about 4:00 pm. The hosts share the desk, trading ES and NQ futures live, walking through market analysis and the day’s news, and taking questions from the chat and the PFM TV Discord. The show grew out of a shorter New York open format in which Zach traded beside a guest trader most mornings.
Around the stream, the channel teaches the mechanics that decide whether an evaluation lasts. Its challenge explainers break each program into price, drawdown type, profit target, profit split and payout rules. Its beginner’s guide covers how futures contracts work, leverage and margin, ES and NQ trading hours, and micro versus mini contracts. Zach’s own guide to evaluations argues for trading smarter rather than more: respect the daily loss limit, know how a trailing drawdown moves, and keep one simple, consistent approach.
