Small scalps, live at the open
FSP streams the Nasdaq open on YouTube most weekdays and scalps NQ off the 1-minute chart for 10 to 20 points at a time, entering on fast liquidity sweeps. His plain-English guides to prop-firm rules and NinjaTrader 8 setup are among his most-watched videos. Around the stream he has built Futures Scalper Pros, a free Discord of more than 20,000 traders who, in his words, trade, bank and pray together.

Who is Futures Scalper?
FSP sums up his live stream in one line: “We trade together, we bank together, and we pray together.” Most weekday mornings the Canada-based scalper goes live on YouTube a few minutes before the 9:30 am Eastern open. He greets regulars by name and leads the room in prayer before the bell. Then he hunts quick moves in Nasdaq futures, 10 to 20 points at a time, calling out each exit as he takes it. On 16 May 2025 he thanked more than 3,000 viewers watching at once. By October 2026 his free Discord, Futures Scalper Pros, had passed 20,000 members.
He publishes under the FSP brand rather than his own name, and he is candid about the road in. He says he has traded for about ten years, through blown accounts and big losses, and never gave up. Along the way he traded forex prop accounts and ran a drop-shipping business. The ad-spend logic of that business still shows when he tells traders to treat a failed evaluation as a business expense. He opened the Futures Scalper channel in April 2024 and that May began posting short, plain-English explainers of prop-firm rules. His walk-through of Apex’s 30% consistency rule is still his most-watched video, with more than 51,000 views. Guides to passing Take Profit Trader and Topstep evaluations, and to connecting prop accounts to NinjaTrader 8, follow close behind.
The method is deliberately small. On the 1-minute chart he waits for a liquidity sweep, a fast flush through a prior low or high where stops sit, and then trades the snap-back at market. He calls the move he wants a “speed candle” and passes on slow grinds through the same level. Some of his best trades, he says, last 15 to 20 seconds. He scales out of four contracts between 10 and 30 points, trails the last one and keeps a normal stop of 10 points. After three entries on three different accounts without a reversal, he steps aside and waits. “No need to be a hero,” he tells viewers. “Just lock it in and bank.”
The rest of the FSP brand grows out of the stream. A paid course at fspfutures.com breaks the strategy into modules, with named setups such as the “micro dip squeeze long.” Since April 2025 a long-form interview series has let traders from his Discord walk through their setups and results on camera. He gives away prop-firm accounts in daily stream draws, under official rules posted on his site. In January 2026 he published a month-by-month accounting of his own 2025, setting his payouts against the cost of evaluations, activations and resets. His own figures show eight green months out of twelve. “Net green is all that matters,” he said. In August 2026 he hosted Take Profit Trader CEO James Sixsmith for a 40-minute conversation about where prop trading is heading.
The schedule holds it together. He streamed on 20 of the 22 trading days between 24 September and 23 October 2026. Sessions usually start around 9:25 am and run from about 90 minutes to more than five hours. Sister channels carry the rest. Futures Scalper Clips posts highlights, Futures Scalper Lounge hosts afternoon and evening community sessions, and FSP Options, launched in September 2026, covers his options trades. A “Prop Firm 101” series of Shorts on drawdown rules followed in October. His strength is putting the unglamorous parts of prop trading on screen: small targets, account rotation and the costs behind the payouts. The community he has built keeps traders steady through all of it.
How FSP trades
Sweeps, speed candles and small targets
FSP trades Nasdaq-100 futures on the 1-minute chart, mostly in the first hours after the 9:30 am Eastern open. His favourite entry is the sweep, where price drives through a prior low or high, takes out the stop orders clustered there and snaps back. He trades the sweep long or short, but only when the move into the level comes as a fast “speed candle” of 10 to 20 points. A slow grind through the same level is a pass. He enters at market rather than with a limit order, reasoning that futures slippage is small and a missed trade costs more than a tick.
Targets are modest by design. With four contracts as his normal size, he takes the first one or two off between 10 and 20 points, scales the rest out toward 30 and trails the last. His shorthand for the approach is “Buy the dip, sell the rip,” and he reads the dips and rips from plain price action rather than a named framework. He does not trade the opening-range breakout himself, although he has taught it on the channel. When price reaches an hourly demand zone and holds, he will sometimes let a position run for 50 to 100 points.
Three accounts, then step back
Risk is spread across accounts rather than stacked in one. He allows three entries on a setup, each on a different funded account. That way a 10-point stop on the first can be followed by a two- or three-to-one winner on the second. If three entries fail to produce a reversal, he stops and waits for the market to consolidate. He copy-trades evaluations to get them passed quickly, then trades funded accounts one at a time, rotating to the next account as each trade closes.
The bookkeeping is the other half of the method. He treats a failed evaluation as a business expense and judges each day by whether his accounts are “net green” as a group. Take Profit Trader, whose daily-payout accounts he trades, is the firm he calls his number one. Options have a growing place too. He trades them as intraday scalps and short-term swings and, since September 2026, shares them on a separate channel. As with every trader profiled here, the approach is described from his own material and is not a recommendation; futures trading involves substantial risk of loss.
See how the wider prop-trading field is positioned in NQ while you study a method like this: MarketFramework's Positioning Edge shows live long/short splits across ES, NQ, MES and MNQ from real evaluation and funded accounts, and Prop Backtest scores strategies against prop-firm rules.
