Who is Casinator Trades?

Casinator Trades is the channel of a trader who introduces himself on camera simply as Casey. The channel description states the plan plainly: day trade futures with prop firms, and document the road to becoming a successful trader. He has kept to it since March 2024. Working on Pacific time, he trades Nasdaq futures on prop-firm accounts and films nearly all of it. That includes the payouts, the losing weeks and the stretches back on evaluations that he calls “eval jail”. The channel now has more than 9,000 subscribers and 1.7 million views across 742 uploads.

He came to futures the long way around. Before trading, he spent about three years reselling sneakers, which was his full-time job until 2023. That year he started trading stock options with his own money, and by his own account it cost him. By December 2023 he had stopped trading his own capital and moved entirely to prop-firm accounts. He credits their rules with making him a better trader, above all the daily loss limit and the consistency rule. “If you cannot be profitable with a prop firm, you cannot be profitable in live trading,” he said in 2024. He has said on stream that he found Apex by watching Trades by Matt and NuttyBar post their payouts there. In 2024, which he calls the year he became profitable, he rotated through stacks of funded accounts at Apex, Topstep, Take Profit Trader and MyFundedFutures.

The spine of the channel is the Road To series, a video diary of his payouts toward a running target. Season one ran weekly for 25 weeks, from July to December 2024. He closed it with a full accounting of what he had spent on evaluations against what he had been paid. Season two began in January 2025 and reached episode 46 in September 2026. The episodes mix trading with the rest of his life: gym sessions, fishing trips to the lake in a 2007 Honda Fit he calls “the humble Honda”, and two cats who wander into frame. In spring 2025 he spent two weeks in Europe, from Paris to Rome and Venice, and filmed a day of trading in Rome.

Around the diary sit the practical videos. His Tradovate group-trading tutorial, published in August 2024, is his most-watched upload, and he has followed it with guides for Quantower, Tradesyncer, Tradecopia and TradingView. Payout walkthroughs show the request process at Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify, Lucid Trading and FundedNext. His comparison videos line up five firms’ account rules side by side. In early 2026 he also filmed three “MAX funded” runs day by day, each an attempt to fill a firm’s limit on funded accounts. The titles show him getting there all three times.

He is just as open about the tough stretches. After a difficult 2025, he opened 2026 with a video setting that year beside 2024 and naming what had changed. He has said 2025 brought him closer to God. On 5 January 2026 he went live for the first time, and he has since streamed more than 170 times on weekdays at 9 am Pacific. The chat he greets as “champions” gets regular account giveaways. In mid-2026 he added casinatortrades.com, which compares nine futures prop firms and offers consistency and drawdown calculators. His free Discord has about 1,200 members. All of it adds up to an open logbook of the prop-firm road, kept by a working trader for anyone setting out on it.

How Casey trades

One market, one chart, the same hours

Casey trades one instrument, the Nasdaq-100 future, on a five-minute chart at the same time each day. “I trade on one time frame, one screen, same time every day, one instrument,” he said in his December 2024 setup tour. Before any trade he checks the Forex Factory calendar and sets an alarm if news is due. Beyond that he trades what is in front of him: “I literally just wake up, open the chart, and see what I see.”

His window is the New York open, 6:30 am on his clock. He trades mostly its first hour or two, and the first 30 minutes matter most. “I just do breakouts, break and retest, bounce plays, and going with the trend all with price action and levels,” he told his stream chat in January 2026. A bounce play is a small-risk entry off a level while the trend holds. When the market ranges instead, he sells the top and buys the bottom, a play he jokingly calls the “funny biz strat”. In an October 2025 backtest he kept his stops to 10 to 15 points, saying anything over 20 is too much for his style. He looks for at least twice his risk and moves the stop to break even once a trade is 10 to 20 points in profit.

Rules first, then the copier

He trades evaluation and funded accounts at a rotating set of prop firms, often in groups. He has used Tradovate’s group trading, Quantower and trade copiers, and calls Tradecopia his favorite. His best stretch, he says, came from rotating firms: copy one firm’s accounts, take one or two trades win or lose, then move to the next. His toughest came when he put every account into one copied group. “No point in copy trading 20 funded accounts when you can’t even get a payout with one,” he said in January 2026.

By October 2026 he was copying evaluations five at a time and trading funded accounts one by one, often in micros. He finds it less stressful that way. “Small numbers really do add up,” he told viewers. He backtests on FX Replay and keeps a trading journal, which he reread to work out what had changed between 2024 and 2025. As with every trader profiled here, the approach is described from his own material and is not a recommendation; futures trading involves substantial risk of loss.
