Who is Uncle Bugatti?
Uncle Bugatti sums himself up in six words: “I eat, travel, and trade futures.” The trading happens live on YouTube, and it nearly always comes with prizes. Since his first stream in May 2025 he has gone live more than 200 times, trading Nasdaq futures on prop-firm accounts. Of his 73 stream titles in 2026, 72 announce a giveaway of prop-firm evaluations. Even the partner code in his stream descriptions carries the name: BUGATTI.
X came first, in September 2024, and it is now his busiest platform, with 10.8K followers and more than 24,000 posts. The YouTube channel followed on 30 April 2025 with an 11-second clip called “Team Bugatti on Tradeify”, and the pace was quick from the start. Within his first week he ran a 24-hour giveaway stream with a dozen evaluations from five firms as prizes. On 16 May 2025 he marked 500 subscribers with another giveaway stream, billed on its thumbnail as “Daily live trading with Uncle Bugatti”. Through the rest of 2025 he streamed most weekday mornings, some 140 sessions by Christmas Eve, with CNBC playing in the background and regulars swapping ideas in the chat.
The trading itself is compact. He works the Nasdaq-100 future with one oscillator under two charts, the 15-minute on top and the 3-minute below, and talks through each turn in short asides. He also checks a long-or-short signal he calls “the bot”. CPI, PPI and FOMC days get a “YOLO” tag in his titles. The accounts rotate across a set of prop firms, and in late January and early February 2026 he traded Phidias accounts live on the DeepChart platform. Of them all, Take Profit Trader is the one he calls his “favorite daily payout firm”.
The giveaways run on a system his viewers know well. More than half of his 2026 titles set a minimum points balance to enter, from five to twenty-five points. Paid channel members get a draw of their own every week, which he says helps “keep the bots away”, and his private Discord holds separate evening draws. Winners send in their X handle to collect the account code. Lucid Trading evaluations are the most common prize, named in about half of his 2026 titles. The timing changed in mid-January 2026, when the stream moved overnight. He goes live in the evening, Eastern time, keeps the charts up through the Asian and London sessions and draws the winners the next morning, usually before 8 am. Through autumn 2026 that overnight stream has run about once a week.
Between streams the channel turns into a travel diary. His Shorts take in ramen and yakitori in Japan, Mount Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi and a hotel room tour in Kauai. More recent ones visit Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and follow his first Zoox robotaxi ride in Las Vegas. One Short sums up the spirit of them all: “Money doesn’t buy happiness but it sure does help in building memories”. Back on the live stream, what he has built is a meeting place as much as a trading desk. Each week prop-firm traders gather to watch the Nasdaq with him and compare notes, and most weeks someone leaves with a new evaluation account.
How Uncle Bugatti trades
One oscillator, two timeframes
Uncle Bugatti trades the Nasdaq-100 future (NQ) with an oscillator running beneath two charts at once, the 15-minute on top and the 3-minute below. He reads the 15-minute for direction and the 3-minute for timing. His 2025 streams ran on TradingView charts, and in early 2026 he traded Phidias accounts on DeepChart. Whatever the platform, he narrates the lines as they turn, in asides like “Look at the three minutes. It’s curving down.”
The clock matters as much as the chart. On an October 2026 stream he held off until the Asian session opened: “10 minutes until Asians are up. So I’m not going to trade yet.” With both timeframes pointing lower, he said he might short after the open. Later in the same stream, on the morning of the CPI release, he checked the long-or-short signal he calls “the bot”. The read was simple: “The bot is short. CPI is in 1 hour.” CPI, PPI and FOMC days like that one carry a “YOLO” tag in his stream titles.
Evaluations first, funded accounts with care
He trades a rotating set of prop-firm accounts, some in evaluation and some funded. He has described testing an idea on an evaluation first, then going back in on a funded account for a small target. In a paid-partnership post pinned to his X profile in October 2026, he calls Take Profit Trader his “favorite daily payout firm”.
Near a payout threshold he slows right down. As he told viewers on a 2025 stream, “Play it really slow until payout.” When a funded account is doing well he avoids overtrading it, and some nights he would rather not trade at all than put his Take Profit Trader account at risk.
