BEST KNOWN FOR

London open to New York close, live from Hungary

Tom Sabo is the European answer to the American prop-firm streamer. Working from Budapest, he goes live for the London session while most US traders are asleep, usually comes back for New York, and sometimes adds a third late-evening session. That is how a 14,700-subscriber channel has accumulated more than 1,550 uploads and close to a million views. He trades Nasdaq and gold futures with ICT-style concepts, using order blocks and supply-and-demand zones as targets, copied across funded and evaluation accounts at a long list of futures prop firms. His most-watched uploads are the explainers funded traders search for: a MyFundedFutures review past 7,000 views, a breakdown of Expert accounts past 6,000, and candid recaps of payouts and setbacks alike. Alongside the channel he has kept a blog, Put Your Life Into Focus, since October 2022, documenting the relaunch, the health scare, the move from forex to futures and the discipline lessons in between.

IN TOM'S WORDS

“There is no option B! That’s what I have been saying for years. Why? Because I’m all into being a successful and constantly profitable trader.”

Who is Tom Sabo?

Most prop-firm streamers are American and start their day at 9:30 am Eastern. Tom Sabo starts his in Budapest, roughly five hours earlier, with the London open. By the time New York rings its bell he has often already finished one session, posted the replay and gone to the gym. Then he comes back for the second. That rhythm, London and New York on most weekdays with the occasional late-evening third session, is why a channel of about 14,700 subscribers carries more than 1,550 uploads and close to a million views. It is also why the title "Trading NQ & Gold futures with funded accounts" appears in his feed two and three times a day.

He tells the back story himself on his blog, Put Your Life Into Focus. He first ran into the forex markets in 2007 and, as he puts it with a laugh, thought a trading robot would make him rich. The YouTube channel opened in October 2016, but the story he wants people to read begins in October 2022, when he wrote a post titled "Starting Over From Scratch". After years of ups and downs without getting from A to B, he dropped every indicator, committed to pure price action and the ICT mentorship, and promised to journal the steps, failures included. "I don’t want to sell anything," he wrote, "I just want to journal." Three months later he was in hospital, fed through a tube and still eyeballing his charts from the bed, repeating the line that is now the first sentence of his channel description: "There is no option B!"

The public catalogue picks up from there. In spring 2023 he was streaming forex and gold with ICT concepts, logging a seven-stop losing streak and still closing May up more than 10 percent, he wrote, before passing an FTMO Phase 1 in June. In August 2023 he made the switch that defined the channel: futures instead of currency pairs, NinjaTrader instead of MetaTrader, and a funded account at TopStep. It was, as he described it, "like sitting into a much better vehicle", with executions clean enough to finally trade the one-minute chart. A completed TopStep Combine and an Apex 50K evaluation followed within weeks. By 2024 he was streaming funded accounts at Apex, Bulenox, TopStep and MyFundedFutures from the London session onward, with a nine-hour marathon stream in June 2024 among the highlights.

What sets him apart is the honesty of the journal. The May 2024 post about losing multiple evaluations in March, and the emotional work that followed, is as candid as anything in the genre. His February 2025 video "I Lost All My FUNDED ACCOUNTS What Happens Next?" has been watched more than 3,400 times precisely because it is not clickbait. He rebuilt, and two weeks later posted a grinning video about buying his next "new" car from prop-firm payouts. The explainers in between are the channel’s evergreen traffic. His March 2024 MyFundedFutures review is his most-watched upload at more than 7,000 views, and his June 2024 breakdown of Expert accounts is next at more than 6,300. In 2025 and 2026 he added tutorials on finding the draw on liquidity with supply-and-demand zones, escaping a choppy day fast, trading order blocks on NQ, and a full hour on how he trades NQ every day.

Around the streams sits a small, personal ecosystem rather than a sales funnel: the blog, a Linktree, a private Pip Ninja membership that he opens and closes as life allows, a Patreon trading room in the forex days, and a stack of partner codes under the single word TOMSABO. The vlogs show the rest of the life: coffee, the gym, a road trip, a getaway to Mali Lošinj, and in June 2026 a "raw day trader life" video about balancing the London session with the weights. In an industry that prizes volume, Sabo matters because he has quietly produced more of it than almost anyone outside the US, on camera, in a second language, with the losses left in.

How Tom trades

ICT concepts, order blocks and the draw on liquidity

Sabo’s framework is the smart-money vocabulary he adopted in 2022: order blocks, displacement, liquidity and the Silver Bullet windows that titled his early London streams. His own twist, explained in the September 2025 tutorial that is his most-watched lesson, is to use supply-and-demand zones as targets. He reads them to decide where the day’s draw on liquidity sits before he looks for an entry. Key levels plus "proper displacement" are the filter, and his 2025 video on escaping a choppy session is about recognising when that filter is not being met and stepping away.

Entries come from a 5-minute model he documented in a 2024 series: candle formations at the level, and a positive risk-to-reward that lets a losing London session be recovered in New York. That is exactly what his July 2026 order-block breakdown shows. He trades Nasdaq (NQ) first, gold futures alongside, and ES when it offers the cleaner read.

Two sessions, one plan, many accounts

Living in Hungary, he treats the London open as his primary session and New York as the second, streaming both on most weekdays and occasionally a third evening session. The same trade is copied across funded and evaluation accounts at several prop firms and executed through Quantower. His descriptions name MyFundedFutures, Take Profit Trader, Apex Trader Funding, Bulenox and Funded Futures Network among the accounts on screen. Risk is small by design. His blog has argued since 2022 for half a percent to one percent per trade, and the hard lessons he documents are almost all about overtrading and revenge trading rather than the entry model itself.

He also writes and talks about the rules of the prop-firm business, from consistency rules and safety thresholds to whether activation fees are good or bad. As with every trader profiled here, the approach is described from his own material and is not a recommendation; futures trading involves substantial risk of loss.
