Who is Tori Trades?
Victoria Duke, Tori to everyone who watches her, got into trading through her uncle, Mike Aston, a day trader since 1996 who took her under his wing more than a decade ago. She has told the story often: a year of simulated trading before risking real money, several years of grinding before consistency, and a strategy she has never changed since. Today she is a full-time futures trader based in Nashville, Tennessee, and one of the best-known faces in retail trading.
The method is deliberately simple. No indicators, just a top-down read of the weekly and daily charts, trendlines drawn by hand on the 4-hour, an "Action Line" that defines the entry and a "Safety Line" that defines the exit. The named plays are a handful: the three-touchpoint break, the two-touchpoint break and the trendline bounce. She trades it mainly on crude oil and platinum futures, holding positions for days rather than minutes, and she is emphatic that the edge is in the discipline, not the drawing.
That simplicity is why the content travels. Her 2025 tutorial on trading trendlines in under 17 minutes has passed 1.8 million views, "My Trend Line Trading Edge" is past a million, and a Short teaching the strategy in 60 seconds has 2.6 million. The channel crossed 100,000 subscribers in September 2023, 330,000 by early 2025 and 700,000 in September 2026, alongside 711,000 on Instagram and 321,000 on TikTok. In October 2024 she launched a podcast with the first episode devoted to her uncle’s three decades in the markets.
Around the channel she built ToriTradez, LLC, founded in January 2021 and now an 11-to-50-person education company. Its Trend Line Trading programme runs a three-stage curriculum from paper trading to live to scaling, with coach-led stage calls three days a week and Q&A sessions with Tori twice a week. A free three-day "Trader in 3 Days" challenge and regular free masterclasses are the way in. She shares her broker statements, documents big wins and hard weeks alike, and closes most videos with the same message: trading really is this simple, and most people make it harder than it needs to be. The purple Ferrari she bought in February 2026 after "ten years of hard work" tells one half of the story; the sister she has taught to trade and the thousands of students who post their first wins in her community tell the other. For a generation of retail traders, especially women, Tori is the proof that a plain strategy and patience can be enough.

Top down, then draw the lines
Tori starts every analysis from the top: the weekly and daily charts set the trend, and the 4-hour chart is where she draws. A valid trendline in her framework needs at least three touches, space between them, and a slope that is not too steep. A line that qualifies becomes the Action Line, the level whose break or bounce triggers a trade. The Safety Line, a second trendline drawn on the other side of price, is the exit, and it trails as the move develops so that winners are protected rather than given back.
The plays are few and named. A three-touchpoint break is a trade through a proven line; a two-touchpoint break is the earlier, more aggressive version; a bounce is a trade off the line in the direction of the trend. Targets sit at the next support or resistance that offers at least twice the risk.
Few trades, big markets, one account
She trades crude oil and platinum futures, occasionally gold, on swing timeframes where a position may run for days, and she has described her own year as a handful of trades rather than hundreds. She trades from a single account of her own capital and journals on Tradezella, where her public playbook documents the rules. Charts are on TradingView and execution on TradeStation.
