NinjaTrader is a futures trading platform and a U.S. futures brokerage, run by NinjaTrader Group, LLC and owned by Payward, Inc. Charting, backtesting and simulated trading are free, while live trading through its brokerage uses Free, $99-a-month or $1,499 Lifetime plans plus per-side commissions and exchange, NFA and clearing fees.

It says it is not a prop firm, leaving rules, account sales and payouts to each firm, and it is in open beta, “free to start” for traders.
